Assistant Coach

Chad is the proud parent of Sophie (17) & Jett (15). His kids attend Anthony Wayne HS. Jett excels in football & baseball while Sophie is the point guard on the girls’ basketball team as well as played volleyball. Chad is the original founder of the State Line Stars Organization back in 2019. Along with Todd Sedlar, Derek Besgrove, & Erik Maly the State Line Organization started with just 1 team, the current 15U Sedlar team. Chad currently serves as the Organization administrator, 15U Sedlar assistant coach & 12U Stars head coach as well as a guest coach for just about every level. His son Jett plays for the 15U Sedlar team. He has been in education for more than 25 years, currently teaching 7th & 8th grade social studies at Delta MS. He has coached at every level, both boys & girls sports. A few that he is proud of... Head Varsity Girls basketball at Delta HS, Head Varsity Baseball at Northwood HS, Head JV Baseball at Delta HS, Head JV Basketball at Central Catholic HS (City League Champs 2003) Head Freshman Coach at St. John’s Jesuit & St. Rose Maumee Girls Basketball 1995 just to name a few stops. Chad is a Northwood HS graduate “94”, Associates Degree from Owens Community College, Bachelor degree from University of Toledo & Masters Degree from BGSU. Chad was an all-League (SLL) & District Football, Basketball & Baseball player at Northwood HS. He continued to play baseball at the college level at the University of Tiffin, Owens Community College and was a University of Toledo Rocket.
